Manufacturing for Brands Scaling Past Their First Factory

Mid-volume woven women's dress and skirt production for scaling labels. 3,000 units per style minimum, 5,000+ for optimal pricing.

For Scaling Brands

Built for the 3,000–5,000 Unit Tier

Scaling fashion brands hit a structural wall: small-batch sample houses can't hold quality at 3,000 units, and enterprise factories won't take you seriously below 10,000. Lunatex is built for the gap in between.

Our Bursa facility is sized, certified, and priced for brands placing 3,000–5,000 unit programs across 4–8 styles per season. We are not the right partner if you are below 3,000 units per style, and we are not the right partner if you are placing 50,000-unit retailer orders. We are the right partner for the brand between those two ends.

Capabilities

What Scaling Brands Get

Mid-volume capacity discipline

Our line allocation is built around 3K–5K runs. We won't bury your program under enterprise orders because we don't take them.

Direct production communication

You speak directly to the production lead, not a sales account manager. Decisions land in days, not weeks.

Honest sample-to-production lead times

4–6 weeks for CMT after sample approval, 6–10 weeks for Private Label including fabric sourcing. We publish, we hit.

OCS + RCS scope on every program

Sustainability-positioned brands can certify the program through us without a separate audit chain.

Bursa woven heritage

Bursa has been Turkey's woven-fabric cluster for 600+ years. Our supply chain is built around woven dresses and skirts, not knit basics.

MOQ Angle

We hold a 3,000 units per style floor with 5,000+ unlocking optimal pricing. Multi-style splits across a 6,000+ unit total order are welcome when fabric overlap supports efficient cutting. We do not take projects below the floor.

FAQ

Common Questions

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

Within 24 hours you receive a reply from the production team — not a generic sales sequence. We assess fit (volume, product type, timeline) before quoting. If the program is a fit, we send a development brief and propose a sampling timeline. If it isn't a fit, we tell you and where possible point you toward the right manufacturer.

Can you take my program if I'm at 1,500 units per style?

No. Our floor is 3,000 units per style. We hold this honestly because the per-unit cost structure below that point doesn't deliver value to either side. We would rather refuse the work than disappoint on price or quality.

Do you offer development for brands new to Turkey?

Yes. Pattern making, grading, sample iterations, and fit-model partnership are all available. Development fees are itemized separately from production and credited against the production order when you proceed.

How do you handle repeat seasonal programs?

Repeat programs receive priority capacity scheduling and material-stock continuity where fabric is available. We track your fit blocks, fabric specs, and finishing standards across seasons so each reorder lands faster than the first.

What's the difference between you and a Lisbon or Porto factory?

Bursa offers comparable EU proximity and quality at a meaningfully lower per-unit cost for woven women's-wear in the 3K–5K range, with significantly deeper woven-fabric supply chain depth. Portuguese factories tend to specialize in knit and jersey; Bursa is woven-first.
