Development & Tech-Pack Support

From sketch to production-ready sample. Pattern making, sampling, fit-model partnership, fabric sourcing — all in one Bursa-based team.

What Development Covers

From Brief to Production-Ready Sample

Development is the bridge between your design brief and a production-ready sample. Our team handles pattern engineering, sample iteration, fabric sourcing, and lab-dip approval — keeping brand vision intact while engineering it for cutting-room and production-line execution.

Brands at the 3,000–5,000 unit MOQ tier benefit most from development that's tightly coupled to the eventual production line. The same team that develops the sample manages the cutting-room calibration. Decisions land faster; quality lands cleaner.

Capabilities

What We Handle

Tech-pack support

Bring a finished tech pack and we move straight to sampling. No tech pack? Our development team builds one from sketches, references, and fabric briefs as part of the development phase.

Pattern making and grading

Full-size grading from your block patterns or our development brief. Standard ranges UK 8–18 / US 4–14 / EU 36–46. Extended ranges to UK 22 / US 18 / EU 50 with additional pattern work.

Sample iterations

Multiple sample rounds: proto, fit, pre-production (PP), and shipment sample. Each documented with measurements, photo, and changes-applied notes.

Fit-model partnership

In-house and on-call fit models for live evaluation in our Bursa facility. Brand teams welcome to attend fit sessions in person or via video.

Fabric sourcing & lab dips

Direct agent relationships across Bursa's woven-fabric cluster. Curated fabric options, lab dips for color matching, and certification documentation for OCS / RCS scopes.

Sample fees and credits

Development fees are itemized separately from production. Fees are credited against the production order when the program proceeds — no double charging.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do you take development-only engagements?

We prefer to develop programs that lead to production with us. Development-only engagements are considered case-by-case but are not our default — the development cost only amortizes when production follows.

How long does development take?

4–6 weeks typical: 1 week to align on tech pack and fabric direction, 2–3 weeks for sampling and lab dips, 1–2 weeks for fit iterations and approval. Complex constructions extend timelines.

How many sample rounds are included?

Proto + fit + PP samples are standard. Additional iterations beyond that are billed at our development rate. Most programs land within 2–3 fit iterations when the tech pack is solid.

Can I attend fit sessions in person?

Yes — brand teams are welcome to fit sessions in our Bursa facility. We also run fit sessions over video call when in-person isn't practical.
