Our Process

How We Work

A streamlined, transparent process from initial inquiry to final delivery.

Step 01

Inquiry & Brief

Reach out via email with your project details — styles, quantities, timelines, and any specific requirements.

Step 02

Sampling & Approval

We develop samples based on your specifications. Review, request adjustments, and approve before production begins.

Step 03

Fabric Sourcing

For Private Label orders, we source premium fabrics matching your requirements. CMT clients provide their own materials.

Step 04

Production

Your order enters our production line with dedicated capacity. We maintain consistent quality across every piece.

Step 05

Quality Control

Every garment undergoes multi-point inspection. We check stitching, measurements, fabric integrity, and finishing details.

Step 06

Packing & Shipping

Garments are professionally packed with your labels and tags. We coordinate logistics to your preferred destination.

MOQ Floor

3,000 units per style standard. 5,000+ unlocks optimal pricing.

CMT and Private Label both sit on the same 3,000-unit floor. Multi-style splits across a 6,000+ total order are welcome when fabric overlap supports efficient cutting.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our services, MOQ, and process.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Our minimum is 3,000 units per style. 5,000+ units per style unlocks our optimal pricing tier through fabric-volume efficiencies. Multi-style splits across a 6,000+ unit total order are welcome when fabric overlap supports efficient cutting. We do not take projects below 3,000 units per style — see our /moq page for the full tier table.

What is the difference between CMT and Private Label?

CMT (Cut-Make-Trim) is for brands that supply their own fabric and patterns — we deliver cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing. Private Label is full-package: we source fabric through Bursa's woven-fabric cluster, build patterns, run sampling, produce, label, and ship under your brand. Brands without in-house pattern or sourcing teams typically choose Private Label.

What is the typical production lead time?

CMT lead time is 4–6 weeks after sample approval. Private Label lead time is 6–10 weeks including fabric sourcing. Complex constructions (evening, cocktail, heavy embellishment) extend Private Label timelines to 8–12 weeks. We publish realistic timelines in production proposals and hold to them.

What certifications does Lunatex hold?

OCS (Organic Content Standard) and RCS (Recycled Claim Standard), both issued via Control Union under Textile Exchange. Cert numbers are available on request. We do not currently hold GOTS — that is on our 12–18 month roadmap. We are honest about what we have and what we don't.

What types of garments does Lunatex manufacture?

Women's woven dresses (midi, maxi, evening, wrap, shirt, casual) and women's skirts (A-line, pencil, pleated, mini, wrap). Knit-only and activewear programs are not our specialty.

Where is Lunatex located and why does it matter?

We are based in Bursa — Turkey's centuries-old woven-fabric cluster. Bursa offers EU-proximity nearshoring (3–5 day shipping to Western Europe), dense woven-fabric supply chain depth, and a skilled production workforce specialized in tailored women's-wear. Turkish manufacturing in general competes effectively with Portugal on quality and with China on lead time.
